House Notice
The house collects only what it needs to answer a message, hold a table, or send word of what's coming next. Nothing more.
This page explains what information La Bandida gathers through bandida901.com, why, and how long it stays. The short version: name, contact details, and any note the guest sends. Held in confidence. Used to respond. Not sold.
La Bandida is a cocktail bar at 901 N. Alamo St., San Antonio, Texas. The website is operated by the bar's owners. Questions about this notice or about information on file can be sent to privacy@bandida901.com.
Three small streams of information, only when a guest hands them over.
The site sets no advertising cookies, runs no third-party analytics, and does not build a profile of visitors. Standard server logs are kept briefly for security and troubleshooting (the IP address that made a request, the time, the page requested, and the browser type). Logs are not used for marketing.
The number listed on the site — 210-439-0832 — is a text-only line. When a guest texts the bar, the house can text back. Standard message and data rates from the carrier may apply. The conversation history stays on staff devices and is used to keep the thread coherent; it is not sold, rented, or shared with anyone outside the bar. To stop receiving texts, reply STOP.
Inquiry-form submissions trigger an internal text alert to the manager so the message is seen quickly. That alert is sent through Twilio, the SMS carrier that powers the line. Twilio processes only what is needed to deliver the message.
A small set of service providers help the website function. Each receives only the information needed to do its job, and each is bound by its own privacy obligations.
Information is shared with these providers only as needed to run the site. It is not sold. It is not handed over for advertising. It is disclosed to authorities only when required by law or to protect the safety of guests or staff.
Information held longer than this is held because the law requires it, or because a guest specifically asked the house to keep it.
A guest may at any time —
Requests go to privacy@bandida901.com. A reply is sent within thirty days. Guests in California, the European Union, the United Kingdom, or other jurisdictions with specific privacy laws may have additional rights under those laws; the house honors them on the same terms.
The site is served over HTTPS. Inquiry records are stored on the web host outside the public folder and accessed only through the manager dashboard, which is protected by a passcode. No system is perfect; the house keeps the surface small and the access narrow.
La Bandida is a bar. The site is not directed at anyone under twenty-one and the house does not knowingly collect information from minors. If a parent or guardian believes a child has submitted information, contact privacy@bandida901.com and the record will be removed.
If this policy changes in any meaningful way, the new version will be posted here with a fresh effective date. Material changes will also be noted on the homepage for a short period.
